Meet Komal Shah
Komal Shah is an accomplished classical dancer, healing artist, and founder of the Natya Therapy Institute of Vedic Arts. With a Master’s in Performing Arts (Kathak) and foundational training in Bharatanatyam, she has performed globally, celebrating the depth of Indian classical traditions. Komal integrates movement, mudras, breathwork, affirmations, and music into Natya Therapy—a holistic healing modality rooted in dance and Vedic wisdom. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. on the connection between classical arts and brain health and is a proud Padma Shri nominee for her pioneering work. Her original classical music compositions for chakra healing are featured on major platforms, and her global workshops have supported individuals with emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Komal has been invited to launch a Natya Therapy franchise in Israel to support children with autism, special needs, and learning disorders—work that has been widely celebrated in Israeli media. Through Natya Therapy, Komal empowers individuals to reconnect with their inner harmony, using the wisdom of Vedic arts to heal, energise, and awaken the self.
