Scientific research shows that visualisation activates similar brain areas as when we physically perform an action. This phenomenon, known as “neuroplasticity”, highlights how the brain rewires itself in response to mental imagery, reinforcing the idea that your thoughts have the power to shape your reality. Regular practice of exercises like visualisation enhances brain activity in regions associated with positive thinking and emotional regulation.
